Q - Can I claim?
If you have been injured in an accident within the last 3 years that was not your fault, then you may be entitled to claim. Speak to a claims specialist at Advocates 4 Claims for further advice or browse through our website for more information.
Q - How do I claim?
Claiming with Advocates 4 Claims is very simple and completely free. Just fill in our Online Claim Form providing us with details of your accident; or phone our FREEPHONE number 0800 411 8811; or email us on info@advocates4claims.co.uk with your contact and claim details.
One of our claims specialists will review your case and contact you within 24 hours to discuss with you its merits and how we can assist you in making your claim for compensation.
If we feel you have a good case to make a personal injury claim and you agree to claim through Advocates 4 Claims, your case file will be forwarded to one of our panel solicitors who will proceed to compile all the necessary evidences, i.e. medical reports, accountant reports, police reports, employment contracts and whatever else is relevant to your case.
The solicitor will then present your case to the party at fault (although often the claim is handled by their insurers) and begin procedures to claim from them the maximum amount of compensation you are entitled to; along with reclaiming any financial loses you incurred due to the accident.
Q - Will I be required to visit your office?
No. We have clients all over the country and we can represent you wherever you live as most compensation claims are be handled over the phone, post or e-mail. We can however arrange home visits if you require.
As long as your accident/personal injury occurred in England or Wales, we can represent you. We even represent clients who have had an accident in the UK but currently live abroad.
Q - What can I claim?
You can claim compensation for the pain, suffering and loss of the amenities of life (personal injury claim) that an accident which was not your faulty has caused you.
You can also claim any financial losses you have incurred (such as time of work, a broken watch, damaged property) or are likely to incur in the future (such as medical bills).
Other claims for compensation include loss of congenial employment, voluntary care and assistance, loss of the ability to perform certain jobs (such as heavy lifting) and loss of opportunity being just a few.
Q - How much can I claim?
The amount in compensation you receive will depend on the extent of injuries you incurred as a result of the accident and the suffering those injuries caused to you in your daily life. Typically, average compensation claims settle for an amount between £2,000 and £10,000.
These compensation awards in England and Wales are based on what has been awarded by the Courts in the past for similar injuries and suffering; and therefore the amount of compensation most appropriate for you can only be calculated after a medical assessment has been carried out and we have received further information to calculate your losses.
It should be noted however, that compensation figures increase substantially for serious and persistent injuries; and when you take into account your loss of earnings, future loss of earnings, costs of medical care, damage to property and other financial losses.

Q - How much will it cost me?
Claiming compensation through Advocates 4 Claims will not cost you a penny. Under our compensation scheme, your claim for compensation is always cost-free for you.
We work in a unique way in that we only claim our costs when we have been successful in winning you your deserved compensation; and we only claim these costs from the defendants (the party at fault). You are never expected to pay us whether the claim is successful or not.
Q - Do you deduct anything from my compensation?
Never! We are aware that other prominent claims management companies are deducting up to £650 from their client’s compensation awards. However, at Advocates 4 Claims, we claim every penny of our costs from the party at fault (or their insurers) and we never expect you to pay; so you always receive 100% of your compensation without any cost deductions.
Q - How long will it take to settle my case?
Every claim is different and so is the time frame in which each claim reaches a conclusion. It all depends on factors such as whether the opponents admit or deny liability, whether the police was involved, whether you have witnesses and so forth.
Typically, average compensation claims are settled between 3 to 10 months.
Q - Will I have to go to Court?
Most claims for compensation are settled outside of Court. However, certain circumstances such as the other side denying liability mean that in some cases, you may have to go to Court.
However, do not let that scare you. You will always be accompanied by the solicitor dealing with your case; and your solicitor would have made all arrangements to ensure that you are never financially liable for any costs (including those in Court).
Q - Do I have to visit a doctor?
If you are ever involved in an accident and suffer personal injuries, then you should always visit your doctor to seek medical treatment. Such a visit will not only ensure that you receive medical attention for your injuries, but if you decide to claim personal injury compensation for that accident, then the record of such a visit could also help strengthen your case.
Once you do make a claim for compensation through Advocates 4 Claims, we will arrange a medical assessment for you in your local area at a time of your convenience. The report of this medical assessment will we used to further strengthen your case for personal injury compensation.
Q - What if the accident was partly my fault?
Even if you were partly to blame for your accident, we may still be able to win you considerable compensation. Let one of our specialists assess the merits of your claim (even one where you are partly to blame); and remember – win or lose, you never pay us a penny.
Q - Is there a time limit in which I can claim?
We recommend that you contact Advocates 4 Claims as soon as possible after your accident to let one of our claims specialists advice you on your claim. The legal time limit in which one should make a personal injury claim is 3 years; however there are certain exceptions (such as cases involving children). This is why we recommend that you contact us early to avoid having your valid claim for compensation 'expire'.
Q - I had an accident abroad, can I still claim?
If your accident occurred while you were travelling on a package holiday then UK regulations apply; and we may be able to help you make a compensation claim against the travel company.
Q - What if I lose my claim for compensation?
Do not worry. If your claim for compensation is unsuccessful, then we do not charge you a penny.
